Minutes of Council meeting held in Bowsman Council Chambers on November 19, 2014 at 7:30 p.m.

Present were Mayor Leanne Hutman, Councillors Daphne Currie, Michelle Baudin, Joyce Readman and Courtney Densen.

Also present was C.A.O. Patti Simpson.

RESOLVED THAT the agenda for the November 19, 2014 regular meeting of council be adopted as amended.

RESOLVED THAT the following minutes be adopted as presented:

RESOLVED THAT authorization be given of the following accounts:
#3863 – #3919 inclusive amounting to $58,953.16.

RESOLVED THAT the Village Office be closed the week of December 22-26, 2014.

5. Joyce Readman, Courtney Densen;
WHEREAS the Village of Bowsman Council has received a letter from Prairie Mountain Health with requesting a financial contribution of $1,870 toward the redevelopment of the ER & Special Care Unit, as well as the building addition needed to house the MRI Unit, all at the Dauphin Regional Health Centre, and;
WHEREAS the Village of Bowsman will be amalgamating with the Town of Minitonas and the RM of Minitonas on January 1st, 2015 and the current council cannot make any financial decisions that are not included in the 2014 budget or that will be binding on the future council of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the aforementioned request shall be forwarded to the new council when they take office on January 1st, 2015.
