A Regular Meeting of Council of the Village of Benito was called to order at 7:00 pm on Tuesday November 18, 2014 in the Village Council Chambers.

Chief Administrative Officer ~ Pat Ellingson.

Mayor Meadows called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm

RESOLVED that the minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council held on October 28, 2014 be adopted as presented.

RESOLVED that the agenda for the Regular Meeting held on November 18, 2014 be adopted as presented.

RESOLVED that By-Law #05/14, being a By-Law of the Village of Benito to provide for the fixing and recovery of a charge related to false fire alarms be read a first time.
Carried.

RESOLVED that By-Law #05/14, being a By-Law of the Village of Benito to provide for the fixing and recovery of a charge related to false fire alarms be read a second time.

5. ZEBINSKI

RESOLVED that By-Law #06/14, being a By-Law of the Village of Benito to appoint Designated Officers to manage the operations of the Benito Fire Department be read a first time.

BE IT RESOLVED that the Village of Benito approve the purchase of a Toro ZX5400 Mower as per quote attached hereto as Schedule “A”.

BE IT RESOLVED that Policy #310 of the Benito Fire Department Operating Procedures Manual be accepted as amended to include the changes to response procedures for all Fire Department units.
Carried.

11. SCHNEIDER

RESOLVED that the October/November Animal Control Report be accepted as presented by the Animal Control Officer.
Carried.

RESOLVED that the Village of Benito transfer funds from the General Operating Fund to Reserves as per Schedule “A” attached hereto.

RESOLVED that the Village of Benito authorize payment of invoice for election expenses as attached hereto.

RESOLVED that the Village of Benito authorize payment of 2014 levies and contributions as per budget:
1. Manitoba Jobs & Economy $260.30
2. Crime Stoppers $40.00
3. Levy for Assessment Services $6,443.00
4. Swan Valley Historical Museum $400.00
5. Thunder Hill Ski Club $2,000.00

WHEREAS the October Employee overtime reports have been received and reviewed by Council;
BE IT RESOLVED that the overtime hours recorded be accepted as presented and be approved for payment as attached hereto.
