Communities That Care
Community Information Meeting
Wed. November 19, 2014
11:30 am – 1:00 pm
Elks Hall
The main goal of this meeting is to provide an opportunity to share the results from the Student Youth survey conducted in the Swan Valley School Division in December 2013. Based on the information shared from this report, there will be a community vote on the direction and initiatives that SVCTC will undertake in order to identify the risk and protective issues highlighted by SV youth. This is an opportunity for your groups/organizations to have a say in what happens in the Swan Valley for our youth.
Please RSVP your attendance at this informational lunch session by November 17, 2014 to Beverley Polon, SVCTC Coordinator at 734-4518 or 734-8138 in order that lunch is available for all in attendance.
Communities That Care is a community-wide initiative to promote positive, healthy development of children and youth. The goal is to develop healthy lifestyles for all children and youth by providing opportunities, skills, and recognition within families, schools, communities and peer-groups.
