On November 8, 2014 approximately 200 people attended the 4th Annual Harvest Celebration supper and dance hosted by the Shaker Misto Dance Club and the Benito Recreation Centre.


Guests enjoyed a delicious supper of perogies, cabbage rolls, beet rolls, ham, and cream chicken.

Following supper, they were entertained with Ukrainian Dance performances by the Dolyna Adult Dancers, the Benito Vesselli Folkorama Dancers, and the Shaker Misto Dancers.

The rest of the evening was spent dancing the night away with the music of The CrawDaddy’s and socializing with friends and family.

A Lucky Chance Draw and 50/50 Draw were held. Winners of the Lucky Chance Draws were: Diane Panagabko, Tara Woytkiw, Violet Riehl, Rubieann Kluke, John Evashchenko, Dawn Dunford, and Brenda Ilienko. The 50/50 winners were: 1st Alice Schneider winning $611.40; 2nd Shawn Yaschyshyn winning $305.70; and 3rd Louise Oberton winning $101.90

The evening was a great success! Thank you to all those who attended and supported this event.
