The Swan Valley Fine Arts Festival Association held a special meeting at Fabriculous on September 30, 2014 to determine whether to fold completely as there were not enough members to successfully continue.

Our plea to the public was successful. with 5 new people attending and offering their services, enthusiasm and suggestions.

We are excited to be able now to offer most of our usual festivals: Carol Festival, Band Festival, Dance Festival, Fiddlin’ Festival, and Music & Speech Arts Festival. At this time, we are uncertain if there will be a Visual Arts Festival as it is very costly and labour-intensive for us. Unfortunately there will not be a Spelling Bee this year.

This will be our 80th year of providing a public platform whereby artists get assistance in their development through an adjudication process.
