Hundreds of people attended a very large Garage Sale and Barbeque on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at the Benito Branch of the North-West Regional Library.

The public donated to the Garage Sale a huge amount of items that were new and gently used. Lots of treasures and collectables. Where you looking for that vinyl record with Elvis Presley singing “Hound Dog” or “All shook up” – maybe Jan & Dean, Neil Diamond, Bobby Vinton or the Boss, Bruce Springsteen’s “Nebraska”. Well it was here.

Great deals to be had at really low prices. Thanks to Isabelle Lyons who had been pricing and sorting items for several months and a great bunch of volunteers who set up tables, displayed and sold items.

The Barbeque was sponsored by lots of great businesses in our community and the Swan Valley area. Thanks to their generosity the barbeque was also a success with Judy Schneider organizing the event.

All proceeds going back to Children’s Programming.
