A Regular Meeting of Council of the Village of Benito was called to order at 7:00 pm on Tuesday July 8, 2014 in the Village Council Chambers.

Present: Mayor Meadows; Councilor Zebinski; Councilor Offenberger; Councilor Schneider

Absent: Deputy Mayor Scouten

Mayor Meadows called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm

RESOLVED that the minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council held on June 24, 2014 be adopted as presented.

RESOLVED that the agenda for the Regular Meeting held on July 8, 2014
be adopted as presented.

RESOLVED that following Building Permit be accepted as presented;

RESOLVED that accounts numbered 25420 to 25495 in the amount totaling $143,348.88 be ratified as paid.

BE IT RESOLVED that the July Maintenance report be accepted as presented by the Maintenance Supervisor.

RESOLVED that the Village of Benito approve a ½ page ad for the Benito School Magic Show booklet planned for October 2014.

RESOLVED that payment of the 911 Per Capita fee in the amount of $1127.23 to the City of Brandon for the year 2014 be hereby approved.

BE IT RESOLVED that the Village of Benito approve the purchase of an FX-1200 Rotary Cutter as per quote attached hereto as Schedule “A”.
Carried.

RESOLVED that the Village of Benito transfer funds from Reserves to the General Operating Fund as per Schedule “A” attached hereto.
Carried.

BE IT RESOLVED that Policy #200 be accepted as amended to include 17.1 and 17.2 Telephone and Cell Phone Policy, and be added to the Village of Benito Policy & Procedures Manual.
Carried.
