On Thursday, June 26, 2014, under the sunshine in the courtyard of the Swan Valley Lodge, Lynn Coupland donated a beautiful flower planter.
The labor of love contains hundreds of plants that take the shape of a pink cancer ribbon.

This planter is a gift I created to express thanks to all the staff from the Swan River Community Cancer Program and especially Lorie, LeeAnne, Bev, Carol and Glenda who generously provided me with care for the past year and half while I underwent treatment for breast cancer.
I know my journey would have been more difficult without their kindness, support, advice, and love.
This planter is dedicated to all cancer patients past and present. This is our candle of hope.
