On June 11, 2014 Richard Genaille, Northwest Metis Council Board Member presented a $500 sponsorship to Special Olympics Manitoba Parkland Region.

The High Performance Athlete sponsorship will be used to help with travel expenses for Angie Ferland, local Cobras Bowler, who will be representing the Parkland Region on Team Manitoba in 5 Pin Bowling at the Special Olympics Canada Summer Games in Vancouver from July 8-12, 2014.

Accepting the sponsorship for the Parkland Region (L to R) are June Mosiondz, Tiger’s Bowling and Team Manitoba 5 Pin Bowling Coach, Bev Lumax, Special Olympics Manitoba Parkland Regional Team Leader and Angie Ferland, local Cobras bowler and Team Manitoba 5 Pin bowling athlete.
