The Swan Valley Snowmobile Association hosted their 7th Annual Vintage Ride on Sunday, March 16th. There were over forty vintage sleds that attended the ride with over a hundred sleds visiting the shack including newer models.

The ride was approximately a 35 mile round trip from Swan River to the Wellman Lake warm-up shack.

The day started out a little cool with a dusting of snow over lunch, but quickly disappeared as the afternoon progressed and temperatures rose.

The first place prize money went to Derek Sagert, and second place to Nathan Bugiera. Included in the event were over ten chinese auctions items, and a 50/50 draw.

A variety of food and beverages were available including hot dogs, deep fried turkey on a bun, donuts, hot chococlate and pop.

Thanks, to all the people and businesses that donated food and prizes to the event.

Everyone at the ride commented on how well the event turned out, thanks to the hard work of all the volunteers.
