On March 1, 2014 at about 1 pm, a ‘911’ dispatch was received regarding a “House Fire” at Antler Corner, in the RM of Mountain (approximately 30 km north of Swan River, MB on Hwy #10).
Swan River RCMP and the Birch River Fire Dept. attended.
All occupants managed to get out of the house safely. Property loss is very extensive.
Fire may have started with a very young child playing with a lighter in the basement.
