The Council of the Town of Swan River met on Tuesday, December 17th, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. in the Town Council Chambers. Mayor McKenzie presiding, Councillors Bobick, Friesen, Jacobson, Delaurier, Sakal and Whyte present.


1. RESOLVED that the Agenda for the December 17th, 2013 regular meeting of Council be received.

6. RESOLVED that the 2014 Town of Swan River Equipment and Labour Rate be approved as per Schedule ‘A’.

7. RESOLVED that the accounts as follows be hereby approved for payment:
(1) General Accounts from Cheque No. 14156 to No. 14265 for a total of $368,349.27.
(2) Payroll Account from Cheque No. 3213 to No. 3222 for a total of $87,124.12.

8. RESOLVED that the Financial Statement for the month ended November 30th, 2013 be adopted as received.

9. RESOLVED that the Chief Administrative Officer be authorized to transfer $1,206,000.00 from the Recreation Facilities Reserve on December 31st, 2013, as outlined in the Town of Swan River 2013 Financial Plan, Capital Budget.
