On Saturday, November 16, 2013 the Benito Recreation Centre and the Shaker Misto Dance Club hosted a Harvest Celebration Supper and Dance.

The evening started off with a delicious meal of perogies, cabbage rolls, beet niks, stuffed pork loin, mushroom and sweet and sour meatballs, salad, and pumpkin dessert.

After supper, the Shaker Misto Adult Dancers and the Dauphin Sche Raz Adult Dance Club entertained everyone with their Ukrainian dances.

The night was then danced away with Rom Romanson and Cattle Drive providing the music.

A Chinese Auction was held and congratulation goes out to the following winners: Eugene Kluke, Bev Negrave, Patti Hack, John Evashchenko, Barb Bowles, Debbie Burnside, Louise Schabert, Jocelyn Bender, April Maxwell, and Shelly Schure.

Later in the evening a 50/50 draw was made with Kyla Kluke, Alex Kluke, and Lorne Mydynski winning the three prizes.

The evening was a great success with everyone enjoying themselves and having a great time! We look forward to next year’s Harvest Celebration.
