Swan River RCMP Investigate Logging Truck Rollover

At about 3:30 pm, on November 13, 2013 Swan River RCMP, Swan River Fire Department, and Parkland EMS were dispatched through 911 in regard to a vehicle rollover on Hwy # 10, about 2 miles east of Swan River, MB.


An eastbound logging truck had apparently swerved to miss an oncoming white minivan, and as a result the logging truck rolled into the ditch. The driver was not trapped nor injured.

The driver of the white minivan was an older male and he continued westbound on Hwy # 10. Traffic control continued until the logging truck was removed from the highway. Suspect vehicle has not been located. The driver of the logging truck was uninjured.

Police investigation continues.

UPDATE: The ‘older male’ driver of the white minivan has come in to the Swan River RCMP detachment and gave his statement.
