On a bitter cold Remembrance Day morning, RCMP, Cadets and Veterans marched down Veterans Way in Swan River to pay tribute to those who paid the ultimate price in service to our country.

After making their way from the Veterans Community Hall to the Cenotaph, Veterans laid three wreaths in honour of the Air Force, Navy, and Army.
Following the singing of O Canada, the names of Veterans passing since last Remembrance were read and the last post was played.
A Minute of Silence.
Representatives from many different groups and organizations then participated in the Laying of Wreaths.
The Taylor School Choir sang a beautiful rendition of In Flanders Fields.
The Remembrance Day Choir sang a variety of WWII songs of farewell and hope for safe return.
Pastor Bob Lewis reminded those present that Remembrance Day, and all that it stands for, is our story – the larger story in which each of our individual stories finds a place – where we are, where we come from and where we are going.
Pastor Lewis reminded us to remember our Veterans, listen to them, tell their stories and provide them with care and support.
