On August 9 to 11, 2013 16 teams competed in the annual competitive slo-pitch tournament in Swan River.

The Swamp Donkeys of Flin Flon, MB (pictured left) were this years “A” Side Champions.

Tournament Organizer, Wayne Bass presented Brain Zerbin, team captain of Swamp Donkeys from Flin Flon, MB with $2500.00 for winning this years “A” side final over 2nd place finishers Nips N Tips of Yorkton, SK (below).

Paperwork Pounders of The Pas, MB (pictured right) were “B” side champs after beating Bombed Flonners of Flin Flon, MB.

Jesse Shingoose of Kamsack, SK was the Male Home Run Derby Champ after going to a 3 way tie with 2 other batters, he was able to win the tie breaker with 2 Home Runs out of 3 hits. Jesse took home a brand new Miken NXT bat.

Kim Elles from Fort Qu’Appelle, SK was this years Female Home Run Derby Champion after hitting 5 Home Runs out of the possibly 6 hits! Kim added a brand new Miken NXT bat to her bat bag!

Both Kim Elles and Jesse Shinegoose were also given a free large pizza sponsored by Chicken Chef in Swan River.
