Communities in Bloom judges will be in Swan River on Aug 6, 2013 to tour the community.

Please help us and your community by keeping your yard and business tidy and weed free.

Local volunteers have been working hard to participate in the Federal Communities in Bloom program.

The evaluation is based on 8 criteria, divided into the 6 following sections.
Tidiness
Environmental Action and Awareness
Urban Forestry
Landscape Area/Walkways
Floral Displays
Heritage Conservation

Judges will tour the landfill, recycle building , town nursery, arboretum, Swan Valley Historical Museum, Harley House, Chamber of Commerce Swan, Birchwood Cemetery, Legion Park, Rotary Park, Rotary Soccer Field, Orville Minish Ball Diamond and multitudes of yards and flowers. Thanks to all who have beautiful flowers and yards this year.
