Submitted by: Dale Buhler | A picture and a few words cannot do justice to the musical treat that was enjoyed by over 60 people in the Pine River Hall. Bob Drayer, an accomplished musician from Sturgis, Saskatchewan, played his self-designed keyboard and footboard.

By way of digital sampling, he presented the sounds of some of the world’s famous organs, a clavichord, and a harpsichord almost exactly as they sounded in the ancient, famous churches where they are located.
The lively sounds of a steam calliope from a Mississippi steamboat, that few will have a chance to hear, entertained the crowd. These sounds, along with a brief history of the instrument and the period made for an enjoyable afternoon.
