The Elks Hall was full to capacity on Saturday, April 13, 2013 as local talent performed to a full house.

It was an heartfelt afternoon of good food and entertaining music for a great cause.

The Burghart Sisters (above) display the ceramic angels presented in appreciation to each participant in the talent show.

With the talent show focused on raising funds for the current year’s charity, the winner of the talent show is determined by the total amount raised through pledges collected.

Event organizer Sylvia Skulmoski confirmed the event raised approximately $8,000. Proceeds will go to the Swan Valley Lions Clubs for the purchase of laser eye equipment – a followup to the Lions successful initiative which purchase the equipment necessary to cataract surgery program at the Swan Valley Health Centre.
