On December 16, 2012 a dispatch came in through a 911 transfer call regarding a vehicle fire at approximately 5 miles south of Swan River on Highway 83.


The vehicle was fully engulfed, with no one around the area. Vehicle was parked on the shoulder of the highway. Swan River RCMP and the Swan River Fire Dept. attended. The vehicle is a 2011 GMC Terrain belonging to a resident of Benito, MB.

The investigation continues and is being treated as suspicious.
