Swan Valley Stampeders White team coached by Mark Munro, Al Hambley & Tom Yaschyshyn went to Flin Flon this past weekend for the Mel Pearson Memorial Novice Tournament.

The team played on Friday Nov 30th 2012 at the Whitney Forum in Flin Flon against Thompson Leafs, Swan River won 6-2, and game star was Domi Leask.

Saturday morning, they played an early 8:30 am game at the Sportex against Norway House, Swan River defeated Norway House 7-2, and Mathew Munro was the game star.

Saturday afternoon, Swan River faced Flin Flon McKeen’s at the Whitney Forum, with Swan River winning 11-1, and Chris Hamley was named game star.

Sunday Morning the team played the La Ronge in the ‘A’ final, winning a nail biter 5-4, and Steven Arp was named game start. Special thanks from the coach’s to all that travelled.
