Minutes of Council meeting held in Bowsman Council Chambers on October 17, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. Present were Mayor Leanne Hutman and Councillors Daphne Currie and Joyce Readman. Councillor Courtney Densen arrived at 8:00pm.

RESOLVED THAT the agenda for the October 17, 2012 meeting of Council be adopted as presented.

WHEREAS no appeals have been received for the 2013 Board of Revision;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the 2013 Board of Revision that was scheduled for October 17, 2012 be hereby cancelled.

RESOLVED THAT the minutes of the following meetings of council be adopted as presented:

CORRESPONDENCE

RESOLVED THAT the Village of Bowsman sponsor one child to attend the BAM Jam Camp’s 3rd annual fiddle & guitar camp at a cost of $60.00.

WHEREAS the Bowsman Village Council has received numerous complaints from local residents and business owners regarding cellular services in Bowsman and surrounding Swan River Valley;

AND WHEREAS the lack of proper and reliable communications is a serious safety concern for everyone;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT we do agree to send a letter of concern to MTS Allstream urging them to improve their services and provide more reliable basic communications services to match their fees charges for those services.
