RCMP Media Release | RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 79-year-old man from the Benito area.

Carl ELLINGSON was last seen leaving Swan River Manitoba yesterday just after 5:00 p.m. and was traveling by vehicle to his home near Benito.

At this time it appears that he did not arrive home.

Mr. ELLINGSON is driving a green 1998 Ford F150 pickup truck with Manitoba licence AVG 876. (The vehicle is similar to the one pictured right).

He is described as about 5’11” tall and 180 lbs. He has gray hair and blue eyes.


Carl ELLINGSON requires medication and may be disoriented. Police and family members are searching the area.

Anyone with information as to his whereabouts or has seen his vehicle is asked to call the
Swan River RCMP at 204-734-4686 or their local police agency.
