Swan Valley Stampeders Junior A Hockey team members stopped by to help local Lions members load a truck with recycling that had been sorted by the Association for Community Living (ACL).

The Local Lions club organized the initiative with the Stampeders coach who provided the opportunity for team members to volunteer and help out. Team members have an opportunity to participate every 3 or 4 months.

The event was a highlight for ACL participants who enjoyed spending some time with the team.

The Valley Lions Recycling Program and the Association for Community Living have an ongoing partnership with ACL providing paper sorting services and sharing in the profit.
