ValleyBiz Pictures Help Promote the Valley

ValleyBiz Story |

They say a picture is worth a thousand words and ValleyBiz couldn’t agree more. ValleyBiz uses its photojournalism features to celebrate what’s best about life in the Swan Valley.

Over the past year, we have had the opportunity to photograph many of the attractions and activities in the Swan Valley, resulting in a large archive of stories on ValleyBiz. Use the search on the top right of any story or story list for an attraction or activity that interests you. If we haven’t covered it, please let us know and we will certainly consider it. We also accept submitted articles and pictures!

Recently, our pictures have been used in several initiatives to promote the Valley.

Northroots Magazine featured our pictures in their article on the Northwest Roundup & Exhibition. With 10,000 copies distributed bi-monthly to over 30 communities, Northroots is all about northern Manitoba people, places, wildlife and events.

Valley in the Mountains used some of our pictures to update several articles in their annual Tourism Guide. The Guide showcases the unique features and attractions of the communities throughout the Valley and is used in several different promotional activities.

Swan Valley RISE
As part of an initiative to enhance the Swan Valley as a visitor destination, Swan Valley Regional Initiative for a Strong Economy created a video presentation featuring pictures of the Valley’s attractions. Most of the pictures were provided courtesy of ValleyBiz. The video has been displayed at the Information Booth and at stores, restaurants and hotels around the Valley beginning the week of Summer Games. The video was also posted on YouTube and can be viewed below.

It takes a lot of time and effort to attend all of these events and maintain our inventory of pictures. Please remember that our content is protected by copyright.
