Swan River RCMP – Impaired Operation of Motor Vehicle

RCMP Media Release | On July 31, 2012 at about 4:00 p.m., Swan River RCMP were flagged down at the Hwy #10 bridge (near the Swan Valley Historical Museum) where road construction has been taking place. Police were advised that a pickup truck had just driven by and clipped a flag man with its mirror (medical attention was not required).

Police patrol was immediately made, locating the 1986 Chevrolet 1500 suspect vehicle.

The driver was identified as 65-year-old Charles Albert GENAILLE resident of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He was taken into custody and has been charged with Impaired Operation (by Alcohol) of a Motor Vehicle and Impaired Operation over 80 mg% of Motor Vehicle.

GENAILLE was released on a Recognizance to appear September 5, 2012 at the Swan River Provincial Court house.

The RCMP continue to investigate, additional charges are being contemplated.
