When looking at pictures after the rainstorm that hit Swan River on July 12, it is sometimes difficult to know exactly what you are looking at, but one thing is for certain, streets should not have waves.

The water provided new entertainment options for kids.

Around town the water overtook curbs and flooded yards.

While most of the flooding retreated quickly once the rain stopped, for a brief time there appeared to be a lot more river front property in Swan River.
