Torrential rains pelted Swan River Wednesday, July 11, 2012.

The rain came so fast and furious that it turned the Legion Park into Swan River’s newest swimming hole – much to the enjoyment of these kids.

Vehicles headed cautiously down streets that looked like rivers while people cooled off with a stroll through the water.

The downpour turned parking lots into lakes in a matter of minutes.
