RESOLVED that Agenda Item No. 3.3, Resolution re: Town of Swan River Proposed Annexation, be tabled until the next Regular Meeting of Council on July 10, 2012.

WHEREAS David & Stacey Slack have submitted an application to subdivide a 4.5 acre parcel on Pt. NE 12-36-28W which contains an existing yardsite with residence;
AND the subject property is designated AGRICULTURAL AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT AREA according to the Swan Valley Planning District Development Plan and is zoned “AG” Agricultural General according to R.M. of Swan River Zoning By-Law No. 2383-04;
AND the Development Plan, Section 3.3.4.2 d) allows for the subdivision of a rural residence that has been rendered surplus;
AND the Zoning By-Law provides for a non-farm residence as a permitted use within this zone and the proposed lot conforms to all minimum standards;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that council in meeting duly assembled hereby approve said subdivision application.

RESOLVED that payment of a one time grant in the amount of $5,000.00 be paid to the Veterans Community Hall as per the 2012 Financial Plan.

RESOLVED that pursuant to Section 15(1) of the Emergency Measures Act, the Council of the Rural Municipality of Swan River declares that the State of Local Emergency is terminated in the Rural Municipality of Swan River on the 26th day of June, 2012.
