Merle Robinson, representative of Friends for Grandmothers of Africa, watches as Susan Huxley signs a petition calling upon the House of Commons to pass
Bill C-398.
This Bill will help facilitate the immediate and sustainable flow of life-saving generic medicines to developing countries which can’t afford brand name retroviral drugs. The local Grandmothers group is collecting signatures which will be presented to Robert Sopuck and to the House of Commons with the hope that the bill will pass the second reading in early December.
