On Friday, June 1 over 150 healthy appetites were amply satisfied at the Benito United Church Salad Supper.

A team of United Church ladies, under the direction of Marlene Kostiuk and Helen Homeniuk, worked together to provide a beautiful cold meal.

The buffet of turkey, ham, a large variety of salads, devilled eggs, cheese, buns, pickles, and mouthwatering desserts was enjoyed by all ages. With the day being one of our warmest this spring so far, many welcomed the cool delicious meal.

Over 40 takeout meals were ordered and a good number of our busy local area farmers were able to have their supper in the field.

Thank you to all who attended and to all who worked and donated food. Your support is greatly appreciated.
