The Thompson Trade Show 2012 was attended again this year by a delegation organized by the Swan Valley Chamber of Commerce. Thanks goes out to the Valley Municipal Governments that finacially sponsored this annual journey.

The delegation consisted of Chamber President, Wayne Grier and the tremendous team of Rick Achter, Linda Goudy, Molly Gornik, Harry Patterson and Terry Patterson.

Many Thanks to these volunteers for giving up 4 days in order to inform Thompson Residents of the wonderful opportunities in the Valley area. We were very well recieved again and look forward to seeing many more Northerners here in the Valley as a result, both for visits and retirement living!

The Thompson Trade show is a fantastic event, very busy and attended by a huge portion of the Thompson Residents(of which there are 15,000). They also draw exhibitors from a wide area, our direct competition this year was Carmen, Birtle and Killarney. We have a huge advantage by taking ex-Thompsonites to man our booth and display.

Thanks to the many Businesses that contributed, we drew 5 prizes at the end of the weekend that were all donated for the cause!
