Minutes of Special Council meeting held in Bowsman Council Chambers on April 10, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. Present were Mayor Leanne Hutman and Councillors Daphne Currie, Courtney Densen and Joyce Readman. Councillor Garry McFadyen was absent.

CALL TO ORDER 7:30 pm

ADOPTION OF AGENDA

RESOLVED THAT the agenda for the April 10, 2012 special meeting of Council be adopted as presented.

BUSINESS

Daphne Currie, Joyce Readman;
WHEREAS Garry McFadyen has handed in his written resignation as Councillor;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council receives his resignation with regrets;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT since there is now a vacancy on council, the Bowsman Council requests that the Senior Election Official hold a by-election as soon as reasonably practicable.
