NOTICE OF TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF
OBSTETRICAL (MATERNITY) SERVICES
AT SWAN VALLEY HEALTH CENTRE

Attention Swan River Valley area residents:

The Parkland Regional Health Authority advises that due to qualified physician resource shortages at the Swan Valley Health Centre there will be no maternity services available during the following time period:

Tuesday, April 3rd at 7 a.m.
until
Monday, April 30th at 7 a.m.

Patients requiring obstetrical services during this period of time will be referred to another open maternity unit. The PRHA continues efforts to secure coverage alternatives that could minimize the length of this suspension period.

If you have any questions about your pregnancy during these timeframes please contact the Swan Valley Health Centre at 734-3441.

For any urgent or emergent situations, please call 911. In areas without 911, dispatch remains as usual.
