The Minitonas District Arena held a skate-a-thon on Sunday, October 30.
Kids of all ages joined in the spooky halloween spirit as they dressed up to raise money for the arena.

Oldest in Costume – Jen Zamzow
Youngest Girl – Felicity Grandfield
Youngest Boy – Kayden Bell
Best Costume – Peyton Bardwell
Most Pledges – Nick & Arden Baskier
It was a great time for the community to get together, let the kids have some fun, and raise some money for a good cause.
Tanya Chernyk who has helped organize the event for the past 4 years, noted that this year’s Halloween Skate-A-Thon was a great success and thanked all of the participants and the rink board members who helped out.
Sean Baskier added this year’s event raised more money than last year’s.
