The Council of the Town of Swan River met on Monday, October 24th, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. for a Special Meeting in the Town Council Chambers with Mayor McKenzie presiding and Councillors Bobick, Jacobson and Sakal present.

Councillors Friesen and Delaurier were absent.

Conditional Use Hearing

Hearing was called to order by Mayor McKenzie who advised that the pupose of the hearing was to hear representation for or against the following application.

Application by The Town of Swan River to allow the construction of a Recreation and Wellness Complex in a Commercial Highway Zone on Lots 6-16, Plan 2380; Lots 10-12, Special Plan 3206 and Lot 1, Plan 1095 DLTO and located at 1424 1st Street North.

There being no persons present who wished to speak at the hearing the Conditional Use Hearing was adjourned.

Minutes:

1 RESOLVED that the Agenda for the October 24th, 2011 Special Meeting of Council be received.

2. RESOLVED that the Application for Conditional Use by the Town of Swan River to allow the construction of a Recreation & Wellness Complex in a “CH” Commercial Highway Zone, on Lots 6-16, Plan 2380; Lots 10-12, Special Plan 3206 and Lot 1, Plan 1095 DLTO and described as 1424 – 1st Street North be hereby approved.

3. RESOLVED that this Council Meeting now adjourn.
