On October 15, 2011 at about 2:00 p.m. Swan River RCMP executed a CDSA (Controlled Drugs and Substances Act) search warrant at a residence near Birch River in the RM of Mountain, Manitoba.

Investigators discovered a number of marihuana plants, processed marihuana, and growing equipment at the home.

The estimated street value of the seizure is approximately $50,000.00



Two adults were arrested at the residence, 52 year old Wayne Edward Cordon, and 43 year old Phyllis Bella Genaille. Both have been charged with Production of a Controlled Substance, and Trafficking of a Controlled Substance.

The accused have been released from custody, and are scheduled to appear in Swan River Provincial Court on November 2, 2011.

No further information is available at this time. Police continue to investigate.
