The Bowsman Hockey Arena was packed Friday Night with people from across the Valley looking to get their adrenalin pumping at the 8th Annual Bull-A-Rama, presented by the Bowsman & District Lions Club.


With all proceeds from the event donated toward new cataract equipment in the Swan Valley, the event was a good time for a good cause.

The show opened with a bang as pyrotechnics flashed and a ring of fire burned.

As the event began, dust from the wild rides mixed with the remnants of smoke still hanging in the air.


This Canadian Cowboy Association (CCA) sanctioned event was the first in the 2012 points season. The first class event featuring seasoned rodeo announcer Emery Erickson, stock from Prime Time Rodeos Inc. and some of the top riders in the Manitoba Rodeo Cowboys Association (MRCA).

Adding to the excitement, Bareback and Saddle Bronc riding were added to the lineup this year.
