Cooper the Bear lends a paw holding the “ribbon” with Co-op Board of Directors President, Sharon Alford. Co-op General Manager, Don Declercq, announced the official opening as facility Manager, Howard Beck cut the ribbon – a gas pump hose.
After the ribbon cutting there was a surprise unveiling of the new Co-op Drive sign. 3rd Street North (East of Highway 10) will be dual named with
Co-op Drive and 3rd Street North both appearing on the sign posts.
After the official part of the Grand Opening was complete, the crowd made their way inside for cake and refreshments.
Open 7 days a week from 6:30 am to 10:30 pm the facility includes a Convenience Store, Gas Bar, and Wand Wash. An RV dump and water fill is also included on site. Enhancements coming soon include “Pay at the Pump” and prepaid carwash cards.
