The Birch River and District Homecoming 2011 Parade took place Friday, July 22 with many creative entries. Kids and kids at heart scrambled to collect their share of the loot as candy was thrown from the floats .

The cooler weather did not seem to dampen anyone’s spririts as the generations gathered together to enjoy the parade and the good company of family and friends.






The participants seemed to be enjoying themselves as much as those who lined the street to watch.
