RCMP Media Release | RCMP investigators have charged 24 year old Ryan CHARTRAND with Second Degree Murder.

The victim has been identified as 33 year old Lance RICHARD. An autopsy has been completed, and the cause of death has been attributed to blunt force trauma.
The victim and the accused were known to each other, and are both from the Pine Creek First Nation.

Ryan CHARTRAND has been remanded in custody, and will appear in Dauphin Provincial Court at a later date.

Police continue to investigate. No further information is available at this time.
