SVRWC Media Release | The Swan Valley Co-op has taken a generous approach to help their staff join the Swan Valley Recreation and Wellness Centre 2740 Club. The goal of the 2740 Club is to raise $1 Million by 2740 members donating $1 per day for 1 year.

Co-op has issued a challenge to all of their staff to “Show the Valley what ‘Co-operation’ is all about!” To help their staff participate in the challenge and join the 2740 Club, the Co-op will subsidize and finance the cost of membership by paying the first $100 and collecting the remaining $265 through payroll deductions.

Staff will receive recognition of the total pledge in their name as well as the tax benefit.

Don Declercq, General Manager of the Swan Valley Co-op, challenges other businesses to do the same, stating, “A little financial help may be all that some need to make the pledge.”
