Submitted by:  Chris Chmelowski | The Swan Valley Fine Arts Festival Association held thier Awards Festival at the Veteran’s Community Hall on Wednesday, May 4, 2011.  The Awards Festival recognizes the personal achievement and excellence of many Fine Arts Festival participants. Carter Kooistra receiving the Home & School Trophy for senior band solo, as well as the Kay Barrett Memorial Scholarship ($135 towards band camp)

Swan School of Dance performing “Dancin’ Fool”, winning the Valley Bearing & Auto Trophy



Singer Crystal Ketel (accompanied by her mom Gwyn) who will be representing the Swan Valley at provincials in Winnipeg at the end of May. Good luck!!
