Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain held Wednesday, August 14th, 2024 at the Rural Municipality of Mountain Council Chambers in Birch River, MB.

Reeve Behrmann and Councillor Mosiondz were absent with notice.
CAO Paige Wozny was present and acted as secretary.

The meeting was called to order at 10:00 a.m. by Deputy Reeve Arnie Pedersen, quorum being present.

WHEREAS Landfill Liabilities have been established within the Rural Municipality of Mountain’s audited financial statements, which represented liabilities for the closures of the Birch River, Pine River and Cowan landfills, which have been completed;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain hereby request the removal of landfill liabilities of Birch River, Pine River and Cowan on the 2024 audited financial statements.
