The Swan Valley Snowmobile Club (SVSC) draw day on November 30th, 2023 was full of excitement, with non stop online raffle sales starting at 6am and going till right before draw, to emergency dental appointments, and it was snowing! Several club members were able to attend including the radio station that covered the event. At high noon we rolled the barrel of tickets and anxiously watched as Jason pulled the winning ticket.

The winner was Callan Senyk of Flin Flon and we immediately tried to call him, it went to voice mail but I left my cell number, me being Tammela Bobick (Secretary for the SV Snowmobile Association). Within the hour Cal had called back and was super stoked to know he had won, and his little 5 year old was equally as thrilled. They had always wanted a side by side and know they will use it as a family for many years. We made arrangements for him to pick up the side by side the very next day.

We want to thank everyone who bought tickets, supported us by sharing our posts online and to all the extras people did for us so we could have a successful raffle. Our club members stepped up big time, with long hours of selling tickets at the parade, rodeo, car shows, hockey games, and grocery stores. Thanks to Jason Sakal at River Valley Powersports for posting a video about the raffle and the amazing prize, it really helped bring in those additional ticket sales. With this raffle money we will be able to complete many projects we have in progress and it will ultimately benefit the whole community. Thank you everyone.
