WHEREAS Prairie Mountain Health wishes to enter into an agreement with the Town of Swan River, the Municipality of Swan Valley West, the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman and the Rural Municipality of Mountain to the committed funding from the municipalities for the design, build and management of the construction of a CT Scanner at the Swan Valley Health Centre; 
BE IT RESOLVED that Reeve Gade be authorized to sign the Memorandum of Understanding on behalf of the Municipality of Swan Valley West.

Household Garbage Collection Agreements

WHEREAS the municipality of Swan Valley West has agreements with some landowners for garbage collection, whose property share a border with Benito; and
WHEREAS these agreements were signed in 2018; and
WHEREAS costs of fuel, maintenance and labour have increased since then:
NOW THEREFORE BE IS RESOLVED that the cost for this service be increased to $200 annually.

WHEREAS the Rural Municipality of Livingston wishes to enter into an agreement with the Municipality of Swan Valley West for fire protection services; and
WHEREAS  an agreement has been drafted for signing;
And Whereas the municipality proposes a $2,500 annual fee with hourly fees of $1500 for the first hour and $1000 for each hour thereafter;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Municipality of Swan Valley West approve the agreement for signing and forward to the Rural Municipality of Livingston for approval and signing.

WHEREAS the municipality has designated various roads in the municipality of Swan Valley West as “haul roads”;  and has reviewed the list for the current year;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the list attached hereto as Schedule "A: be approved with the changes discussed; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the municipality will offer Dust Control application on these roads on a 50/50 cost share basis.
