Regular Meeting of Council of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman, was held in Council Chambers in Minitonas, Manitoba this 30th day of November 2021 A.D. at 6:00 pm.

Reeve Pacamaniuk called the meeting to order at 6:00pm

Res. 76/2021 G. Bartel – S. Walmsley
RESOLVED THAT the Agenda of the November 30, 2021 Regular Meeting of Council be approved as presented.
Carried.

Res 77/2021 L. Hutman – W. Kolisnyk
RESOLVED THAT the Minutes of the October 19,2021 Regular meeting of Council be approved
Carried.

Res 78/2021 G. Bartel – L. Hutman
RESOLVED THAT S. Walmsley shall be appointed as Finance Chair for the November Regular Meeting of Council.
Carried.

Res 79/2021 S. Walmsley – G. Bartel
RESOLVED THAT Council authorize the payment of Municipal Accounts which include cheque No’s 9925-10059 in the amount of $597,539.37
Carried.

Res 80/2021 G. Bartel – L. Hutman
RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman does hereby approve the Staff Expense Reports as submitted.
Carried.

Res 81/2021 W. Kolisnyk – C. Densen
RESOLVED THAT the October 2021 Financial Statement be approved as presented.
Carried.

DELEGATIONS:
6:10pm Minitonas Fire Chief – Ken Malley
Reeve Pacamaniuk welcomed Chief Malley to the meeting at 6:15pm.
Chief Malley provided YTD reports on calls, Mutual Aid response and a Length of Service Report. Reeve Pacamaniuk Thanked Chief Malley, and
excused him from the meeting at 6.27pm.

Res 82/2021 L. Hutman – S. Walmsley
RESOLVED THAT The Municipal offices shall be closed to the public at 12 noon December 24, 2021 and reopen at 8:30am January 3, 2022

Res 83/2021 L. Hutman – G. Bartel
RESOLVED THAT Subject to Regulation 53/97 of The Municipal Act, The CAO be authorized to organize the destruction and disposal of records.

Res 84/2021 S. Walmsley – L. Hutman
RESOLVED THAT Council designates 2020 as the year for which all properties in arrears of Taxes, may be offered for Tax Sale
Carried.

Res 85/2021 L. Hutman – C. Densen
RESOLVED THAT The October 2021 Animal Control Report be accepted as received.
Carried.

Res 86/2021 G. Bartel – W. Kolisnyk
RESOLVED THAT Kolton Leslie be hired as an Arena Assistant worker from November 1, 2021 to April 30, 2022.
Carried.

Res 87/2021 G. Bartel – S. Walmsley
RESOLVED THAT Jamie Beals be hired to an Administrative Assistant Position.
Carried.

Res 88/2021 L. Hutman – C. Densen
RESOLVED THAT The Regular Meeting of Council Scheduled for December 7, 2021 be Postponed to December 14, 2021
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT The December 21, 2021 Regular Meeting of Council, be cancelled.

RESOLVED THAT The CAO and CFO be authorized to attend MMAA Conference in Brandon April 24-27 2022

RESOLVED THAT The Farmland Beaver reimbursement application submitted by Branconnier, for 32 beavers, be approved.

Res 92/2021 G. Bartel – L. Hutman
RESOLVED THAT In accordance with Section 83(1)(d) of the Municipal Act, Council does now move in camera to discuss Legal and Employee issues;
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT any item discussed while in camera must be kept confidential until the matter is discussed at a meeting of Council in public.

Res 93/2021 S. Walmsley – W. Kolisnyk
RESOLVED THAT Council now move out of camera and resume the Regular Meeting of Council.
Carried.

RESOLVED THAT Council do now adjourn.9:00pm
