Boil Water Advisories |

A precautionary boil water advisory has been issued on May 21, 2021 for the Benito public water system.

A power outage led to a loss of water pressure in the Benito distribution system. A loss of water pressure in the distribution system can compromise the safety of the water supply.

Until further notice, all water used for consumption should be brought to a rolling boil for at least one minute before it is used for:
– Drinking and ice making
– Preparing beverages, such as infant formula
– Preparing food, including washing fruits and vegetables
– Brushing teeth
