RESOLVED that the Agenda for the Regular Meeting of Council held this 9th day of June, 2020 shall be adopted as amended;

RESOLVED that the Minutes for the Regular Meeting of the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West held on May 26th, 2020 shall be adopted as received.

WHEREAS the owners of PT. SE ¼ SEC. 33-34-28 WPM have made an application to subdivide their property, and;
WHEREAS the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West has reviewed said application, along with the letter received from Community and Regional Planning dated June 3rd, 2020 and have no objections to the aforementioned subdivision;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED we do hereby approve the Subdivision of the aforementioned property, provided all conditions and requirements set out in said letter from the Province of Manitoba, Community and Regional Planning Branch are met.

-Rural Animal Control Officer’s Report for the month of May, 2020
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that payment for the above services shall be approved as submitted.

RESOLVED THAT Council of the Municipality of Swan Valley West hereby approved funding in the amount of $887.50 for upgrades of the Swan Valley chamber of Commerce to reface the exterior of the Tourism building.

WHEREAS the Municipality of Swan Valley West has received quotes for Mobile Radios for the Tandem Truck and replacement complete with antennas;
AND WHEREAS the purchase will be through Prairie Security at the cost of $1,470.04 includes tax, for the most cost effective and efficient option.

RESOLVED that the Municipality of Swan Valley West work with the Town of Swan River to resolve the drainage issue at #275 and 2nd Ave NW to enable MB Infrastructure to rebuild PR #275.

WHEREAS the Financial Manager/Assistant CAO position is currently vacant;
AND WHEREAS Council believes it to be in the best interest of the municipality to have the position filled on an interim contracted basis;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Council authorize the Reeve to sign the Contract (attached as Schedule “A”) to this resolution between the Municipality of Swan Valley West and James Webb for the provision of services related to the Financial Manager/Assistant CAO position.
