Mistletoe Magic Lights Up the Swan Valley Museum

Over 750 people braved the cold to enjoy the Mistletoe Magic event at the Swan Valley Historical Museum on Saturday December 7, 2019.

And a magical night it was with the return of a long time Valley favorite in the Kern Christmas display – refurbished and installed on the Museum grounds for all to enjoy.

The lights sparkled and the festive music played while visitors strolled through the Heritage Village or enjoyed refreshments served from the Clay Oven building or posed for pictures at the Railway Station.

And it didn’t end there – two beautifully lighted teams of horses were on hand offering wagon and sleigh rides all evening. Even old St. Nick found time to attend, greeting visitors young and old from his seat on a vintage red sleigh beneath the colored lights of a great evergreen tree.

Through the generosity and hard work of our many sponsors and volunteers this special evening was offered free of charge.

And if you missed out Saturday night, don’t worry – you can still visit the Museum to enjoy the lights and music every evening from 5pm to 10pm until January 8, 2020. Cheers!
